Centre for Water Resources Development and Management (CWRDM) is a premier Research & Development (R&D) institute in the water sector established as an autonomous research organisation by Government of Kerala under its Science and Technology Policy in 1978. The vision of CWRDM is to serve as a Centre of Excellence catering to the Research and Development demands in all spheres of water management. The main activities of CWRDM includes Research, Development, Consultancy and Training in water resources and allied subjects so as to enhance the quality of life by ensuring water security especially in the humid tropics.
