Library and Documentation:

The Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment situated in Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram, maintains a professional Research and Reference library at the eighth floor of Sasthra Bhavan. This Library has a good collection of books on subjects relating to Science Technology and Environment.

Main Objectives of the Library

  • To build up a relevant collection of information materials on Science and Technology to disseminate the necessary information to Researchers, Scientists and other Professionals.
  • To provide information and documentation support to the programmes and activities of KSCSTE.
  • To play a vital role in achieving the aims and objectives of the Institution by providing timely and relevant information to the scientific and technical staff.

The library is open to all interested users. To use the library facilities you need to produce a letter of introduction from the institutions/ organizations concerned. However, borrowing privileges are limited to the Permananent Staff Members of KSCSTE only.

Library Resources

The Library has a good collection of Books, Reports and publications. It houses 2917 books, 911 reports and 41 Current Journals apart from that it also holds an unique collection of about 746 publications made by KSCSTE and other R&D organizations

Library Services

It provides Lending, Reference, Bibliographic News clipping and Photocopying services.
