Introduction:
Kerala State Council
for Science Technology and Environment has constituted this
scheme to encourage and promote research talents for the implementation
of highly qualitative research projects of duration up to
three years in the emerging areas of Engineering & Technology.
Guidelines for implementing projects under Engineering and Technology Programmes:
Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Environment has constituted this scheme to encourage and promote research talents for the implementation of highly qualitative research projects of duration up to three years in the emerging areas of Engineering & Technology
Project proposals received from the faculty of Engineering Colleges, Research Institutes/Centres etc. will be primarily sent for peer review to three experts in the respective field. If their comments are favourable, such proposals are placed in the Research Council for Engineering and Technology Programmes (RCETP). Based on the recommendations of RCETP, financial grant up to Rs.10 lakhs, for a period of three years is provided to the institution, for carrying out the research. The project which is approved for implementation is provided with a financial sanction order, which is subject to certain terms and conditions. The following guidelines assist for smooth implementation of the project in conformity with those terms and conditions.

The guidelines provide general information. In addition to these, the implementing agency has to follow its own rules and regulations, wherever necessary. However, we hope that the end result of this would be a smooth implementation of the project.
