KSCSTE Fellowship Programme

KSCSTE will notify in the form of advertisements in news papers inviting aplications from qualified candidates for the award of Research Fellowships of the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment, an autonomous body of Government of Kerala. There will be 24 research fellowship in the subject areas namely Agricultural Sciences, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Chemical Sciences, Earth System Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences and Taxonomy (Botany & Zoology). The candidates should have passed the M.Sc/M.Tech. in the first five ranks from any of the Universities in Kerala in the year during [2005 - 2007] The fellowships will involve full time research work for 3 years, leading to Ph D degree in the relevant subject areas.

Eligibility

Duration

The period of fellowship shall be for a period not exceeding three years

Amount

Rs 8,000/- pm for the first two years and Rs 9,000/- for the 3rd years. The fellowship will carry an annual contingency grant of Rs 10,000/- Plus H.R.A.

Mode of Selection

An aptitude test with objective type questions, both in general and subject areas followed by personal interview for the short listed candidates will be carried out.
