The scheme provides financial assistance to students enrolled in professional courses (Graduate and Post Graduate) and Science Post Graduate Courses in colleges and university departments to carry out science and technology projects.
KSCSTE invites applications from eligible students under the Student Project scheme. The applications shall be submitted through the online portal.

Applications are invited once in a year through the advertisement in KSCSTE website and dailies.
Eligible students shall submit the application through the online portal in the website along with the consent from principal investigator and Head of the Institution. Hard copies of the application will not be accepted.
- Financial assistance up to Rs.10, 000/- per project.
- Duration of the project is six months.
- Number of student investigators per project should not exceed 5.
- During a financial year, the maximum number of projects sanctioned will be:
15 per College, 4 per Department, 2 per Principal Investigator
Students currently enrolled in professional courses (Graduate and Post Graduate) and Science post-graduate courses in colleges and University Departments in Kerala can apply.
