KSCSTE – Proposals are invited under Seminars/Symposia/Workshops (SSW) Scheme

Scheme for support of Seminars/Symposia/Workshops KSCSTE invites proposals under the Seminars/Symposia/Workshops (SSW) Scheme during the financial year 2026-2027. The window for online submission will be active from 14th August 2026. The SSW Scheme aims to offer financial assistance as co-sponsorship for organizing Seminars, Symposia, Workshops and Conferences of scientific, technological and environmental importance, conducted within the State of Kerala. Women’s Leadership in STEM Programme – 11 August 2026, 2:30 PM

Women Leadership in STEM –  Lead with Purpose. Navigate Challenges. Build Impactful Careers The Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE), in association with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) – Indian Women Network (IWN), Southern Region, invites women researchers, entrepreneurs, professionals, academicians and STEM students to an inspiring programme on Women Leadership in STEM. The programme will feature: Mr. Chetan Makam, Senior Vice President – Commercial, OrganOX, delivering the keynote address on “Leading with Purpose: Navigating Challenges.” Ms. Jyothi Ramaswami, Cyber Security Consultant, sharing insights on Cyber Security in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape. The session aims to encourage women in STEM to lead with purpose, overcome professional challenges, and build impactful careers through inspiring leadership experiences and meaningful interactions with accomplished industry leaders. KSCSTE Welcomes Dr. K K Ramachandran as Executive Vice President

The Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) extends a warm welcome to Dr. K. K. Ramachandran on assuming charge as the Executive Vice President, KSCSTE. A distinguished marine geologist with over 37 years of scientific research and science administration experience, Dr. Ramachandran has made significant contributions to earth and environmental sciences. His exemplary leadership as Scientist and Group Head at the National Centre for Earth Science Studies (NCESS) and his dedicated service as Member Secretary of KSCSTE and the Kerala State Coastal Zone Management Committee reflect his unwavering commitment to advancing science, sustainable development, and public policy. We wish Dr. Ramachandran every success in his new role as Executive Vice President. We look forward to his visionary leadership in strengthening Kerala’s scientific ecosystem, fostering innovation, and driving impactful research for the benefit of society.
