Recognizing Scientific Excellence within KSCSTE Instituted in 2022, the KSCSTE Best Scientist Award honors outstanding scientists within the KSCSTE system who have demonstrated remarkable achievements and significant contributions to research and science that benefit both the scientific community and society at large. Introduction A science enrichment programme for Prathibha Scholars to nurture and motivate them for higher studies and career in Science. Programmes are organized through reputed research and academic institutions to introduce them to the research activities carried out, so as to develop passion for science research. Introduction Under the scheme, students from schools, polytechnic colleges and those admitted to undergraduate level courses in colleges will be selected every year for doing a science project – SPYTiS-I (for school students) and SPYTiS-II (college level students). Selected students will be provided financial support for successfully completing the project. Procedure for Application Proposals in the prescribed format are generally invited in the month of June every year through advertisement in KSCSTE website and dailies. Introduction The scheme provides financial assistance to students enrolled in professional courses (Graduate and Post Graduate) and Science Post Graduate Courses in colleges and university departments to carry out science and technology projects. KSCSTE invites applications from eligible students under the Student Project scheme. The applications shall be submitted through the online portal. P. T Bhaskara Panicker Science Writing Fellowship Introduction This fellowship aims to promote science communication and science writing in Malayalam and to take science to society through books and publications. The aspirants shall submit a proposal specifying the area on which the books will be written. A Selection/Screening Committee will evaluate the proposal and the final selection will be made based on the qualification and experience of the candidate. At least one book in the field of science or related areas shall be completed during the period of fellowship. Procedure for Application Applications are invited through advertisement in KSCSTE website and dailies. Features The fellowship comprises of an amount of Rs.1,00,000/- for a period of one year which will be granted in two equal instalments.
