KSCSTE instituted KSCSTE – Best Performing Institute Award in the year 2021 in order to encourage the R&D activities envisioned by the State and also to develop a healthy competition amongst the R&D centres. The Award will be announced based on the overall criteria such as research publications in reputed journals, PhD guidance, sponsored research projects, consultancy, external funds generated, Infrastructure strengthening, plan fund utilization, output to societal benefit, etc.
The awards are announced during the inaugural session of the annual event Kerala Science Congress, organised by KSCSTE.
