The programme, themed ” ððð«ð¨ ðð§ðð¤ððð¢ðð ððððð¡ð¬ ððð«ðð¥ð: ð ðð¢ð¨ðððð¡ð§ð¨ð¥ð¨ð ð² ðð§ð ðð¨ð§ð¬ðð«ð¯ððð¢ð¨ð§-ðð«ð¢ð¯ðð§ ðð§ð ðððð¥ðð¡ ðð¢ð¬ð¬ð¢ð¨ð§ ðð¨ð°ðð«ðð¬ ð ðð§ðð¤ððð¢ðð ððððð¡-ð ð«ðð ð ð®ðð®ð«ð,” brought together students, researchers, and experts to promote awareness on snake conservation, snakebite prevention, and the One Health approach. The event was inaugurated by Prof. Saji Gopinath, Executive Vice President, KSCSTE, and presided over by Dr. P. Harinarayanan, Member Secretary, KSCSTE. Technical sessions by Smt. Deepthi Mohan, Beat Forest Officer, Rapid Response Team, Palode, and Dr. R. Dileep Kumar, Snakebite Management Researcher and CEO, Indriyam Biologics Pvt. Ltd., highlighted the importance of snake conservation, human–snake coexistence, and biotechnology-driven approaches to snakebite prevention. A key highlight was the release of the “Illustrated Guide to Common Snakes of Kerala,” prepared by Dr. R. Dileep Kumar under the Snakebite Management Initiative of KSCSTE, EIACP PC Hub Kerala, and the Kerala Biotechnology Commission. The programme concluded with an engaging interactive session moderated by Er. Arjun Prasad, Senior Scientist, KSCSTE, followed by the Vote of Thanks by Dr. Sherin B. M., Senior Scientist, KSCSTE. The three-month student and technician training programmes offer monthly stipend and comply with the qualification package of the respective Sector Skill Councils.
