EIACP Hub, Kerala at KSCSTE Secures National Recognition at EIACP Evaluation Workshop 2025–2026 The Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) proudly announces a remarkable national achievement by its Environmental Information, Awareness, Capacity Building and Livelihood Programme Programme Centre (PC) Hub, Kerala. The EIACP PC Hub, Kerala at KSCSTE has been awarded 3rd position at the national level in recognition of its outstanding performance during the year 2025–2026. This prestigious honour was conferred at the EIACP National Evaluation Workshop 2025–2026, organized by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. The award was received by Dr. P. Harinarayanan, Chief Scientist and EIACP PC Hub Coordinator, from Mrs. Namitha Prasad, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.

Expert Consultation to Develop a State-Level Plan of Action on Climate Change Impacts on Kerala’s Ocean and Coastal Ecosystems A consultative meeting of experts to develop a State-level Plan of Action to address the impacts of climate change on Kerala’s ocean and coastal ecosystems was held on 10 March 2026 at 3:00 PM at the CM’s Conference Hall, Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram. The meeting, coordinated by the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE), brought together experts to deliberate on issues such as sea-level rise, coastal erosion, ocean warming, and their impacts on marine biodiversity and coastal livelihoods. The consultation is expected to guide science-based mitigation and adaptation strategies for the sustainable management of Kerala’s coastal and marine resources.
